ತಿಳಿದೇಳುವ ಮೊದಲು ನಿದ್ದೆಯಲಿ ಮಂದಹಾಸ
ಉದಯನುದಯಿಸಿ ಬಗೆಯಲಿ
ಅದರದಳಗಳನರಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ತೋರುವುದು
ಶಿಶಿರಕರ್ಪೂರವುರಿಸಿ ವಸಂತಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ
ಹಸಿರುದೇಗುಲವ ಬೆಳಗುವ ಕಾಲ..
ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಮೆಲ್ಲಗೆ, ಇಬ್ಬನಿ ಕರಗುವಂತೆ
ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಳೆದ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ,
ಮುಂಜಾನೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಹೊಸಜನ್ಮದಲಿ
ಹೊಸಮಗುವಂತೆ ಕಣ್ಣರಳಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
